01.24.03 c.e -- 10:30 A.M EST -- music: m. attack

for the past month and a half, i've been carrying out an experiment..
which i call 'subway writings' -- from 175th St down till W. 4th on the A train..
i scribble madly without stopping, without any pause for grammar consideration.
yeas, for awhile, i write down all the garbage, that floats in the atmosphere like
dead satellites. but then after awhile - things get interesting..
i come up with theories and ideas, which emerge blinking into the sun.
you discover things about yrself which may surprise you and make you laugh.
try it, it is good for the soul.

what a bitterly cold winter it is, however i still walk across the GW Bridge..
staring down at the glimmering Hudson.. and trying not to freeze.
ahhh how it invigorates.

a dear friend in the UK opened up a livejournal thing for me.
at first, i was mystified by the invite email.. wondering where it came from.
in truth.. i enjoy doing this a bit more... but! because of it..
JB has uttered a magical phrase to me.. one that made my fears melt away..
when i bemoaned about what have i got myself into [regards to moving to Oz]
she responded, 'nah, it is more like, what have you gotten yrself out of.'

so something wonderful happened some time ago, i forgot about it until now.
while working at the bookshop, a friend who i used to work with at my last job came in..
after exchanging pleasantries, he opened up his wallet and pulled out a drawing
i doodled about 3 years ago! i wrote the words, 'tempus fugit' - Latin for 'time flies'
it was a great honour, m'dears.

hmmm, been waking up quite early, so i can get in as much sun in my days. i crave it.
so the Koreas decided to go for peace. now let us see how the US gov't shall go.
in the meanwhile, i've been steeping my brain in myths...
and how we actually breathe through them... they are all just names those deities..
been a very interesting thing to study.. all these words.. describing one thing.

i write this to you, the sun streaming in through my window..
my room is the only place where direct sunlight comes in..
i like to bask in the warmth like a plant.
ahhh.

hmmm don't know which way i am going, but i am going.
